While in Ireland, Dr. Barghouthi developed a fascination with surgical hair restoration and went on to participate in exclusive fellowship programs and hair restoration courses both in Europe and the USA.

With exceptional outcomes, Dr. Barghouthi is skilled in both Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) techniques. He is capable of conducting large-scale mega sessions that yield dense and authentic-looking results. Dr. Barghouthi uses very small FUE punch sizes and sapphire incision blades for high density work. He typically completes 35-55 FU/cm2 of density depending on the patient’s end goal, donor hair quality and hair loss pattern.

At our Harley Street clinic, Dr. Barghouthi and his team dedicate their time to one patient per day only. During a typical session, they perform between 2000 to 3500 grafts for a single day case. In cases requiring larger sessions up to 6000 grafts, the procedure is often spread over two consecutive days for patient safety. It is worth noting that Dr. Barghouthi personally conducts your consultation for hair and scalp using the latest trichological diagnostic equipment. 

Dr. Barghouthi is also a passionate hair scientist who actively conducts clinical trials and presents studies in hair related conferences all over the world. He developed his own modified anaesthesia technique, which was recently presented at the World Congress on Hair Restoration Surgery published in the ISHRS Forum Journal, and is currently trialing a study to regenerate hair follicles and aid donor scarring using the medication Verteporfin which is gaining much interest in the hair loss community.
